Gulf of Paria Oil Spill: Thank You for the Tremendous Support

Thank you for the tremendous support this far! On behalf of all of the animals we've helped so far, we'd like to thank everyone for their tremendous support and assistance. Dozens of people have reached out after hearing our call for supplies and wanted to do anything that they could, to do their part.

We've had great support with the supplies requested, donations going toward medical care and numerous concerned and caring people who want to volunteer their time as well. The support has been invaluable, we truly cannot thank all of you enough.

Some FAQs regarding the supplies: Q: Can we still donate? A: Yes of course! We welcome any and all assistance especially as this is an ongoing effort, nationwide. Q: Do you have enough or do you need more? A: Unfortunately there is never "enough". The supplies we initially started with were left over from the last oil spill where we took similar action as well. Even when this initial surge comes to an end we will have animals trickling in after and we have no way of telling how many. It's also a sad reality that unless things change (which they won't), we have to be ready. Any "left over" supplies will be bunkered and on standby. Q: Do you have a drop off point in south Trinidad? A: Yes we do! Please contact us for more information. Q: We'd love to help, but can you send us a letter to help with corporate? A: Yes of course, please reach out to us and provide the information of who and where it needs to be directed to.

We'd also like to say a special thank you to the Animal Welfare Network and the Trinidad & Tobago Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals TTSPCA - Port of Spain Shelter who assisted us with mobilizing and loaning of transport carriers and temporary intensive care units at an increased capacity.
